Volleyball Recap: Clark Montessori Takes a Loss

Clark Montessori was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Summit Country Day Silver Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-3, 25-4.

Summit Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Meredith Walker led the charge by getting two aces and one block. Walker is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

Clark Montessori's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Summit Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Clark Montessori does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summit Country Day, they will take on Reading at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
