Soccer Recap: Bishop Ready Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Bishop Ready had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Licking Heights Hornets. For Bishop Ready, this counts as revenge for the 5-0 victory Licking Heights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2019.

Bishop Ready hit Licking Heights with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ronald Gauman, Cross Williams, and Jack Collaguazo.

Coincidentally, Bishop Ready and Licking Heights will both be playing Teays Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Silver Knights will head out to face the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on the 15th, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on the 25th.
