Volleyball Recap: Palmer Moose vs. Wasilla Warriors

Palmer faced Wasilla in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Moose fell 2-0 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss on Tuesday.

Audrey Cahill paced Palmer's offense, picking up five kills. Cahill got some help from Samantha Thomas and her seven assists. Finally, Sophie Reid kept Palmer's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15-2. As for Wasilla, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-2 record this season.
