Maple Grove lost against Eastview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crimson took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lightning. The Crimson's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Max Miley paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up five kills. Miley got some help from Ryan Patten and his nine assists.

Maple Grove's loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Maple Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Andover on the 19th. As for Eastview, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burnsville at 7:00 p.m. on May 13.
