Volleyball Recap: Oakville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Oakville faced off against Eureka on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Oakville sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 17-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-9.

Oakville now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Eureka, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakville will head out to square off against Mehlville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eureka, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Joseph's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
