After flying high against Hartfield Academy on Thursday, Pillow Academy came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 70-54 bruising from the Leake Academy Rebels on Monday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Leake Academy was led to victory by Sarah Prince and Jenna Allen. Prince went 9-for-15 on her way to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Allen shot 41% from the field to rack up 21 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Prince now owns an excellent 47% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Kylee Boykin, who posted six points and six boards.

Pillow Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Leake Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Pillow Academy is taking a road trip to take on Kirk Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Leake Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tupelo at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
