Soccer Game Preview: Powell vs. Karns

The Powell Panthers will face off against the Karns Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Powell is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Webb on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Karns played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Elizabethton.

Karns' draw makes their record 5-3-2 this season. As for Powell, they moved theirs to 1-5-1.

Powell came up short against Karns in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, falling 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
