Recap: Cedar Cliff Colts vs. Emmaus Hornets
Cedar Cliff had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Emmaus Hornets with a sharp 9-2 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Cliff also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Cayden Bender made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Bender was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
