Basketball Game Preview: Logan Grizzlies vs. Pine View Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Logan Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Pine View Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Logan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Logan turned things around against Cedar on Thursday. They blew past the Reds 67-43.

Reed Olsen was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 15 boards. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high. Milo Steele was another key player, going 6 of 7from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points.

Meanwhile, Pine View earned a 59-47 win over Cedar on Wednesday. That looming 59-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pine View, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Logan strolled past Pine View when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 79-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
