Basketball Recap: Faith Academy's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Faith Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past the Citronelle Wildcats with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 47-32. The Rams pushed the score to 39-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.

Citronelle lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Taishauna Moody, who posted 18 points. Sha'Laya Cunningham was another key player, putting up nine points.

Faith Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Citronelle, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Citronelle, they will square off against Washington County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
