Basketball Recap: Northwood Finds Playoff Glory Versus South Granville

Northwood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the South Granville Vikings 65-43 on Tuesday. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Cam Fowler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 19 points and seven rebounds. Beau Harvey was another key player, scoring five points in addition to nine boards and six assists.

Despite the loss, South Granville still got an impressive performance from KJ Terry, who posted 22 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The game was Terry's third in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Brown, who shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points and eight boards.

The win was the 17th in a row for Northwood, bringing their record for this year to 28-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.1 points. As for South Granville, their loss dropped their record down to 23-7.

Northwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-44 victory against Southwest Onslow on the 7th. South Granville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
