Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Takes a Loss

Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 84-31 loss at the hands of the Central Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-18 on December 2nd.

When it comes to explaining why Metro Tech lost, don't look at Erick Morales. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Metro Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwest Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Central also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Destiny Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
