Volleyball Recap: Martin Luther Spartans vs. Burlington Demons

Martin Luther was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burlington Demons.

Burlington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Blake Lindsay out in front who had ten assists and three digs. That's the most digs Lindsay has posted over his last six games.

Martin Luther's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Burlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Martin Luther will head out to take on Greendale at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Racine Case on the 20th.
