Volleyball Game Preview: Upper Lake Cougars vs. St. Helena Saints + How To Watch

Upper Lake is 0-5 against St. Helena since September of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cougars will head out to face off against the Saints at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Upper Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Middletown and fell 3-2.

Upper Lake actually scored more points across those five sets (102-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-19, 15-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Upper Lake's loss came about despite a quality game from Ava Witter, who had 25 digs.

Meanwhile, St. Helena came up short against Fort Bragg on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 21-25, 25-16.

St. Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Upper Lake, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Upper Lake couldn't quite get it done against St. Helena in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
