After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Bear Creek finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tokay Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Bruins' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bear Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Bayani, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bear Creek's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-10. As for Tokay, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

While Bear Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
