Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was the 3-0 winner over Alexandria-Monroe when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trailblazers lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-11.

Brooke Henderson paced University's offense, picking up six kills. Henderson got some help from Nyla Blanding and her nine assists. Quinlan Litke controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Seeger on the 23rd. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they will challenge Muncie Burris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
