Softball Recap: Bellevue Redmen vs. Norwalk Truckers
While it was Bellevue who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Norwalk who put up more. The Redmen fell just short of the Truckers by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Truckers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-7 on Thursday.
Chloe Easterwood was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. MyahAnn Reesman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Norwalk, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.
