Volleyball Game Preview: Madison Patriots vs. Owen Warhorses

Madison hasn't had much luck against Owen recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Patriots will square off against the Warhorses at 6:00 p.m.

Madison came up short against Polk County on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Madison couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Polk County a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 33-31.

Meanwhile, Owen had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1.

Owen had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Owen, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.

Madison couldn't quite get it done against Owen in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
