Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Takes a Loss

Pinnacle came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Altamont Longhorns, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-7.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Altamont, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Pinnacle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Dugway on the 12th. As for Altamont, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Manila at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give the Longhorns their first taste of in-conference action this season.
