Football Recap: Tekoa-Rosalia Comes Up Short

Tekoa-Rosalia extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-5. They took a blow against the Lake Roosevelt Raiders, falling 70-26. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Timberwolves came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Raiders are ranked 248th).

As for Lake Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 2-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Terrell Bush had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 184 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Kaden Christman was in the mix as well, providing Lake Roosevelt with two TDs.

Tekoa-Rosalia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Roosevelt, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Okanogan on the 30th.
