Lancaster is a perfect 5-0 against Canal Winchester since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Golden Gales will welcome the Indians at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lancaster has six straight victories, Canal Winchester has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Lancaster is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Reynoldsburg a 33-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Golden Gales, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Canal Winchester fell victim to Teays Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 18-0.

Lancaster pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Canal Winchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
