Marlin finds home pitch redemption against Hearne

There's no place like home for the Marlin Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let Hearne onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Marlin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They hit Hearne with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Eric Ramos-Diaz (2),
Christopher Sanchez, and
Rigoberto Martinez.
Marlin's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8-1. As for Hearne, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlin will challenge Connally at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Marlin is ranked 715th, while Connally is ranked 716th). As for Hearne, they will head out on the road to face off against C.H. Yoe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hearne's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
