Basketball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-24 loss at the hands of the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-20 two weeks ago.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Osborne will challenge Lakeside on Friday. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Otis-Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sylvan-Lucas has three straight wins, Otis-Bison has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
