It was a good run, but  MacArthur unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
 MacArthur saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Moneer, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Sinton, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record  this season.
 MacArthur and Sinton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. MacArthur (ranked 316th) will meet Harlandale (ranked 1051st)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile,  Sinton will  take on  Jones  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday up  515 places (127 vs. 642). The timing is sure in Sinton's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home while Jones has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
