Baseball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Comes Up Short at Home Against Farina South Central

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Farina South Central Cougars on Monday, falling 15-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Nowitzke, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
