Football Game Recap: Clarksburg vs. Springbrook

After having lost a blowout to Quince Orchard in their previous game, Clarksburg were happy to find some success on Friday. Clarksburg blew past Springbrook 43-10. Springbrook can consider this payback for the 8-10 loss they dealt Clarksburg the last time the teams encountered one another.

Clarksburg started the match off right with 43 first-half points. Meanwhile, Springbrook couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 43-0 heading into the break. Clarksburg were outperformed in the second half 0-10 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The contest pushed Springbrook down to 1-3 and pulled Clarksburg up to the reverse at 3-1.

Next week Clarksburg take on Gaithersburg at 6:30 PM. Clarksburg will be strutting in after a victory while Gaithersburg will be stumbling in from a defeat. Springbrook will look to defend their home turf against Paint Branch at 6:30 PM. Springbrook stagger into the matchup hobbled by three consecutive losses while Paint Branch skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
