Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-17 loss at the hands of the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Trojans are ranked 168th).

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Thornapple Kellogg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Thornapple Kellogg have any future games scheduled.
