Softball Game Preview: Mira Costa Mustangs vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

The Mira Costa Mustangs will take on the King/Drew Golden Eagles in a tournament on Wednesday. Mira Costa has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mira Costa came up short against San Pedro on Saturday, falling 13-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, King/Drew came up short against Port of Los Angeles on Monday and fell 5-1.

King/Drew saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

King/Drew dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mira Costa, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
