Rocket City put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 6-2. The six-run effort marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Gavin Bulmer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bulmer was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Isaac Schrimsher was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Bill Bushnell, who scored two runs while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Rocket City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rocket City pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rocket City will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will square off against Greeneville at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
