Basketball Recap: Hardin Comes Up Short

Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 43-34 to the Warren Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-30 back in December of 2024.

Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

When Hardin and Warren next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Hardin will try to stop Kountze's three-game winning streak when the meet at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Warren will square off against Orangefield and their seven-game winning streak at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
