Baseball Recap: Tivy Comes Up Short

Tivy fell victim to Smithson Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Rangers. The Antlers haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Tivy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Vasquez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

Tivy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Smithson Valley, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

While Tivy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
