Baseball Recap: Mendon Unity Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mendon Unity, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans on Tuesday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered an 8-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mendon Unity's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Simon Rabe, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. Avery Frese was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Mendon Unity's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton/Warsaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
