After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ava, Gainesville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Fordland Eagles by a score of 6-2. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Fordland, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

Coincidentally, Gainesville and Fordland will both be playing Alton the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
