Soccer Game Preview: Pascagoula vs. George County

The Pascagoula Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the George County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pascagoula is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Resurrection Catholic just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Eagles finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Panthers' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, George County waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Hurricanes onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

George County's win bumped their record up to 9-4. Pascagoula's draw gives them a new season record of 5-6-1.

Pascagoula came up short against George County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Pascagoula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
