Brylee Leonardo posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She was up against Springfield and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in May of 2024. Leonardo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
