Softball Game Preview: Souderton Indians vs. Central Bucks West Bucks

The Souderton Indians will face off against the Central Bucks West Bucks at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Souderton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games dating back to last season.

Souderton's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Thursday, when they got past Upper Dublin's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Indians were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Central Bucks West didn't have quite enough to beat North Penn on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bucks in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Central Bucks West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katherine James, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Souderton pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average this season. As for Central Bucks West, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
