Baseball Recap: West Delaware Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when West Delaware duked it out with Wahlert on Monday. The Hawks fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

West Delaware's defeat dropped their record down to 15-20. As for Wahlert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

As of now, neither West Delaware nor Wahlert have any future games scheduled.
