Softball Recap: Port Richmond Takes a Loss

Port Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Curtis Warriors, falling 18-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 6-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Port Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Curtis, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Port Richmond is set to square off against their familiar foe New Dorp at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Curtis will take on rival Tottenville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
