Soccer Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anthony Wayne Generals. If Brunswick were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Anthony Wayne when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Anthony Wayne, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brunswick will welcome Mentor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mentor's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Anthony Wayne, they will be playing at home against Findlay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
