Volleyball Recap: Cesar Chavez Comes Up Short

Cesar Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moon Valley Rockets.

Cesar Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Moon Valley, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cesar Chavez will venture away from home to take on Browne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moon Valley, they will square off against Goldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
