Gompers Prep Academy hadn't done well against Bayfront Charter recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Sharks 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on five straight.

Gompers Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Bayfront Charter, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
