Preview: Beulah Bobcats vs. Wadley Bulldogs

The Beulah Bobcats will be playing at home against the Wadley Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Beulah will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.

Last Thursday, Beulah beat Dadeville 63-50.

Meanwhile, Wadley came up short against Handley on Saturday and fell 60-51. Wadley has not had much luck with Handley recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Wadley saw an underclassman step up: Frisco Robertson scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robertson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tedrick Burns, who scored 11 points.

Beulah has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Wadley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Beulah couldn't quite finish off Wadley in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 and fell 61-58. Thankfully for Beulah, Isacc Minnifield (who scored 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
