Berry is 7-1-1 against West Charlotte since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Berry challenge West Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. Berry's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Berry fell victim to Ardrey Kell and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Knights are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, West Charlotte was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Hopewell.

Berry now has a losing record of 4-5. As for West Charlotte, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

Berry took their victory against West Charlotte in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Berry since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
