Volleyball Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Firelands Falcons

Keystone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Firelands Falcons, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Keystone was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Firelands work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25, 25-13.

Kendal Crabeels paced Keystone's offense, picking up 14 kills. Crabeels got some help from Mia Stefan and her 20 assists. Stefan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Keystone's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Firelands, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
