Campolindo and Mt. Diablo are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Cougars will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Campolindo is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Concord, falling 16-6.

Maya Hammerman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Mt. Diablo's offense. They lost 11-0 to Las Lomas on Thursday. Considering the last time the Red Devils couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Mt. Diablo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Campolindo, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Campolindo took their victory against Mt. Diablo in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
