Football Recap: West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were outmatched by the Kimball Jaguars and fell 60-21. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 43-14 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Logan Barry threw for 111 yards and one touchdown. Marcus Young was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Ethan Morris rushed for 81 yards.

As for Kimball, the win got them back to even at 1-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 347th, while West is ranked 789th).

Richard Sandoval looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 162 yards and three TDs on only ten passes.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will host Weston Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Wolfpack their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Kimball, they will be playing at home against Mountain House at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
