Football Game Recap: Hickory Grove Christian vs. Concord First Assembly Academy

After having lost a blowout to SouthLake Christian Academy in their previous game, Hickory Grove Christian was happy to find some success on Friday. Hickory Grove Christian captured a comfortable 66-48 win over Concord First Assembly Academy. Concord First Assembly Academy can consider this payback for the 7-34 loss they dealt Hickory Grove Christian the last time the teams encountered one another.

Hickory Grove Christian's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 38 points in the first half. Concord First Assembly Academy came up with 34 to make it 38-34 heading into the break. The offense for Hickory Grove Christian continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 28 points. The victory bumped their record up to 0-2. The defeat dropped Concord First Assembly Academy's record to 0-1.

Next week, Hickory Grove Christian take on Camden Military at 7:00 PM. Concord First Assembly Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against High Point Christian Academy at 7:00 PM.
