Soccer Recap: Golden Gate Comes Up Short

Golden Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls.

Golden Gate's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for LaBelle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Gate will square off against Lely at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for LaBelle, they will face off against Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. LaBelle is facing Dunbar at the right time seeing as Dunbar is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
