Basketball Preview: Lee's Summit Tigers vs. Park Hill South Panthers
Lee's Summit has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Park Hill South Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (Lee's Summit is ranked 38th, while the Panthers are ranked 30th).
Last Tuesday, Lee's Summit had to suffer through a rough 60-31 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lee's Summit has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Park Hill South scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 60-36 margin over Kearney.
Lee's Summit's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Park Hill South, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Lee's Summit lost to the Panthers on the road by a decisive 54-35 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Lee's Summit avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
