Football Recap: Moore Lions vs. Westmoore Jaguars
Moore had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 38-13 margin over the Westmoore Jaguars on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Moore's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ozias Adams, who rushed for 113 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Adams has posted since back in September of 2024. Ken Coulter was in the mix too, providing Moore with two scores.

When it comes to explaining why Westmoore lost, don't look at Elijah Rose. Despite the final result, he picked up 42 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 71 yards on only eight carries.
Coincidentally, Moore and Westmoore will both be playing Southmoore the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will head out to face the SaberCats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
